The employers are also expected to apply for the H1B visa petition within the United States Immigration Department. The approved petition is a dedicated work permit that allows you to get access to a visa stamp as well as relevant work in the United States for the given employer.
The H1B Visa gets issued for speciality occupations. It will require the practical and theoretical application of the body of specialized knowledge while requiring the visa holder to possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
The H1B Visa remains valid for 3 years. It can be extended a single time for an additional 3 years. Generally, H1B Visa remains valid for a maximum of 6 years.
The beneficiary is expected to have at least one of the requirements:
Agent or employer is expected to submit Labor Conditions Application to the DOL (Department of Labor) for certification in LCA
Agent or employer is expected to submit the completed I-29 Form to the designated service centre of USCIS.
Upon receiving approval for the I-29 petition, the potential H1B employee can apply within the US DOS (Department of State) at the US Consulate
